Arrival Information
3.00PM arrival at Finca Mia on the start day of your retreat.
No early arrivals unless previously arranged with Finca Mia. Please do not arrive without first talking to a Finca Mia representative (Sophia, Erin, Ryan, Ian) to receive details!
For those taking the Finca Mia shuttle (information below), your arrival has been planned for this time.
Departure Information
9:00AM departure from Finca Mia on the final day of your retreat.
Departure is after breakfast and guests are required to be packed with luggage on the doorstep by 8:00AM ready for the shuttle departure or onward travel at 9:00AM

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Finca Mia provides a shuttle service from San Jose to our retreat center in the Chirripo Mountains. Find the details of our shuttle service here.
If you are arriving the morning of your retreat - in order to meet the shuttle, you must be OUTSIDE of the airport by 10:00. As soon as you exit the airport and take a few steps - you will see a restaurant called MALINCHE’S on your right. Wait there until your trusty driver arrives to pick you up at 10:00/10:30 (we will alert you of the exact time). He will have a sign that says Finca Mia. Don’t be confused by the many, many taxi drivers asking you if you need a taxi, just make your way to Malinche’s to await your driver there.
We will send the phone number for your specific taxi driver before you arrive, but if any problems arise and you are not able to find your driver with the “FINCA MIA” sign please call us by Whatsapp (see front page for contact numbers) and we will help you asap. There is free wifi in the airport. The shuttle driver has all your flight itineraries and will know when your flight arrives or if it has been delayed.
If you are arriving past the shuttle time, please tune in with our team! We will either line you up with a loving private taxi driver or we will need to get your details for how you are arriving so someone is there to greet you! Private taxis arriving to Finca Mia or departing from Finca Mia is an extra cost on your part.
RECOMMENDED HOTELS IN SAN JOSE
Stay the night in San Jose before you arrive at Finca Mia, and take advantage of our shuttle service to the mountain. (If you can not find a flight that has you arriving by 10 on the morning of your retreat, we HIGHLY recommend this option)
Our shuttle service picks up at any of our recommended hotels on the morning of your first retreat around 10:30AM.

- There are no covid / vaccine requirements for Costa Rica
- You must have proof of an onward ticket within 90 days upon entering
- It is not recommended to exchange USD to colones in the airport as their exchange rate is much higher
